The list below contains names of fungi which have been reported as etiologic agents of disease, but whose identity is as yet uncertain. In addition, a number of names is included that are nomenclaturally correct but of which the case report was unconvincing. Further, some recently introduced taxa are listed which are nomenclaturally and clinically correct but were published to late for inclusion in the main part of the Atlas.
