Spring Symposium One Health Mycology
A workshop on aspects of human, animal and plant health
The yearly Westerdijk Spring Symposia series have built up a reputation of cutting-edge meetings on various hot topics in mycology. The 2026 symposium is devoted to One Health Mycology. A panel of renowned international speakers will present their latest research data and viewpoints; see here for the program. The meeting will cover human, animal and plant health, including environmental conditions of soil for plant growth in agriculture and in nature, and a session is devoted to indoor mycology and wastewater. Different from previous meetings, the 2026 Spring Symposium is therefore particularly interesting for workers in applied areas. The symposium takes place in the pleasant ambiance of the Westerdijk Institute at the Utrecht University campus. The number of participants is limited to 100; there are still a few tickets available
